Windows Kernel Image is corrupt
SmartGuard detects that your Windows kernel image is modified. Such changes are most often found on 32-bit versions of Windows and can be a sign of a virus or rootkit.
- Make sure that you are using the latest version of your antivirus software. If the antivirus is not installed we recommend using Avast or Malwarebytes.
- Check your computer for viruses using your antivirus.
- Some older versions of Kaspersky Free Antivirus can provoke this error.
